BACKGROUND

Mansion House boasts an illustrious heritage (dating back to 1740) as a premier venue for distinguished gatherings, particularly the significant yearly banquet chaired by the Lord Mayor, where the Chancellor of the Exchequer presents their prestigious 'Mansion House Speech', alongside numerous civic and livery events. Yet, to enhance its commercial potential, the venue must appeal to contemporary brands and enterprises that might have previously considered it somewhat traditional. We were commissioned to develop a brand identity, content strategy and resources (primarily a website) that would honour Mansion House's heritage whilst embracing its future direction.

SOLUTION

The brand identity drew inspiration from the venue's interior architecture, with structural elements informing the logo and brand symbolism. Typography choices bridged classical and contemporary styles, whilst the colour scheme reflected the authentic hues found within the rooms. To enhance visual appeal, we produced CGI visualisations demonstrating various event possibilities, such as showcasing the Egyptian Hall hosting a fashion runway. The newly developed website effectively highlights Mansion House's finest features and, through advanced development techniques, achieves a contemporary sophistication that mirrors the building's own distinctive character
